Tag Mini Books   Date: Tuesday January 25, 2005
Summary:
Altered Mini Tag Books by Shawna Webster

Article:
I recently was turned on to the fun of mini books and decided that I would create one of my own. They are a fun way to show off pictures and make a great conversation piece.

These books are easy and fun to create! Here are some simple instructions and a list of materials to get you started on one.

Materials:

1 large key ring
Chipboard
Patterned Paper/Cardstock
Ribbons
Embellishments

To get started on your book you must cut the front and back covers out of your chipboard. You may make them whatever size works for you. Next you will cut slightly smaller rectangles or squares for your inside pages. These will be somewhat like tags. Decorate your cover and pages with patterened paper and embellishments. These can be flat or bulky pages.

After your cover and pages are completed you can use your anywhere hole punch to create holes for the key ring to slip through. I also made holes directly opposite these to include more ribbons. Fibers can be substituted of course. Slip your key ring through and you are all finished! Its that easy. A fun and easy mini book for any occasion you like.
